Tata Steel UISL’s Public Health and Sanitation (PHS) Department Successfully Conducts “Safai Apnao, Bimari Bhagao” Program at Kasidih Depot

Jamshedpur, July 7, 2024 :Tata Steel UISL’s Public Health and Sanitation (PHS) Department recently conducted the “Safai Apnao, Bimari Bhagao” program at Kasidih Depot, aimed at promoting cleanliness and preventing disease.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Deepankar Pradhan, Manager, Tata Steel UISL. Ms. Christina Kachhap, City Manager, JNAC discussed the importance of Swachh Survekshan and outlined strategies to improve the city’s ranking.

Mr. Sanjay Tiwari, Manager, Dy. Manager, Conservancy and EMC, Tata Steel UISL provided an informative talk on dengue prevention, emphasizing the significance of cleanliness in combating the disease. The guest of honor, Mr. Manojsingh Shekhawat, highlighted preparations for the monsoon season, including extensive cleaning efforts. He expressed gratitude to all cleaning staff, supervisors, and officers for their dedication and hard work.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr. Ehtesham Hussain, Manager, Tata Steel UISL Officially inaugurated by Mr. Manojsingh Shekhawat, Chief Division Manager the event saw participants engage in cleaning activities at SR Flat Nala and the Old Civil Court premises.
