SAFE organizes session on “Farishte – The Good Samaritan Law” and “Addiction in adoloscents- prevention and awareness” for school children

A training session was conducted by SAFE in Kudy Mahanty Auditorium to 340 students and SAFE coordinators of 29 schools. Session was inaugurated by Ruchi Narendran, Chairperson SAFE and Mr Neeraj Kumar Sinha, Chief Safety. Faculty of the session was Dr Manoj Sahoo, Sr Consultant and HOD Psychiatry TMH and Good Samaritan Law was covered by team of CII Young Indians. Mr Neeraj Kumar Sinha encouraged students to take maximum benefit of the sessions by making it more interactive.


Ms Mom Mitra Convener SAFE informed that target audience of this session were students of Std IX to Std XII and SAFE will continue organising such sessions with relevant topics for children. There was a question and answer session at end where school children asked various questions to faculty members. SAFE is actively engaged in 32 schools of Jamshedpur, 4 schools of Jharia, 7 schools of OMQ and 7 schools of West Bokaro division chaired by Ms Ruchi Narendran. Tata Steel facilitates this initiative by organizing various safety initiatives for schools through an annual plan.
