Outcome-Based Education and NBA Accreditation: NIT Jamshedpur Takes the Lead

NIT Jamshedpur, in collaboration with NITTTR Kolkata, has embarked on a pioneering journey towards enhancing the quality of engineering education through a comprehensive Faculty Development Program. The five-day program, focusing on “Outcome Based Education and NBA Accreditation,” kicked off with an inspiring inaugural ceremony on April 26, 2024, at the esteemed premises of NIT Jamshedpur.

With 43 faculty members from both engineering and non-engineering departments enthusiastically participating, the program aims to delve deep into the intricacies of Outcome Based Education (OBE) and the meticulous procedures involved in filling the self-assessment report for NBA accreditation.

The distinguished gathering at the inaugural ceremony included eminent personalities such as Director Professor Goutam Sutradhar, Deputy Director Prof. R.V. Sharma, Dean of Faculty Welfare Prof. Prabha Chand, Associate Dean Dr. Dinesh Kumar, along with other Deans and Heads of Departments. Notably, Prof. Urmila Kar from NITTTR Kolkata graced the occasion as the esteemed chief guest.
