5-day Robotics Workshop inaugurated at NIT Jamshedpur in association with IIT Hyderabad

Jamshedpur : The Department of Mechanical Engineering of National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur is organising a Five-Day Skill Development Workshop on “Underwater Robotics”

The 5 day workshop aims to bring together experts in robotics especially underwater robotics to train young minds in Jharkhand.

The workshop has participants from all the nearby universities / Colleges including ARKA Jain, Srinath, RVCET, BACET, and also school children from the region.

Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Sanjay, highlighted the fact that students need to upskill themselves in this futuristic technology which will not only provide employment but also has scope of startups in the field of robotics.

Dr. V. K. Dalla, Dr. A. K. Barik, Dr. Prashant Kumar are workshop coordinators and sponsored by the prestigious NMICPS TiHAN IITH and have planned training to participants by experts from Tata Steel , and local and national level startups CEOs.
Mr. Manoj Kumar Jha, Chief Electrical Field Maintenance of Tata Steel inaugurated the event.

Director Prof. Gautam Sutradhar in his message highlighted the fact that robotics being a multi-disciplinary subject is in line with Modi Government focus on both NEP 2020 and vision 2047.
